OBAMA RENAMES TWO ADDITIONAL NATIONAL SITES
100 years ago this week in Beaver Valley history..
Dr. Jon Bonelecker, head of the Geo-Thermal Sciences department at Beaver Valley City College wrote his findings that warned of imminent planetary disaster due to man-made climate change. Bonelecker's research was carried out after a rare snowfall occurred during the first week of September of 1915, during which the region was blanked by almost two inches of snow. Bonelecker observed the entire event from a window, concluding that the snowfall was a symptom of a warming trend initiated by a record rising in global legume-eating. Upon his release from Beaver Valley Jail, and shortly following a return visit to McCallaster's Pub, Dr. Bonelecker sent his findings to the State's Office of Weather Affairs. The findings, although rejected at the time by close-minded meteorologists, were published simultaneously in Gentleman Sot Quarterly and by Bean Haters International Press.
