OBAMA RENAMES TWO ADDITIONAL NATIONAL SITES
White House officials have confirmed that following his decision to rename Mount McKinley to Denali, President Obama has taken it upon himself to rename two additional National sites. Officials say the President was compelled to rename the sites on ethical grounds, noting that the new names reflect a gesture of sensitivity to the peoples who hold strong ancestral ties to the locales involved.
The disclosed sites include the placid Illinois city formerly known as "Chicago", which is hereby recognized as Obama Town. The second site is an out-of-the-way island in the Pacific ocean formerly known as "Hawaii", and which now through by Presidential order will be officially called Michelle Isle. The White House confirms that the new name of the island was selected to honor the stunningly gorgeous wife of a mythical god worshiped by natives.
This lovely island, formerly known by the white man name of "Hawaii" is now officially recognized as Michelle Isle, in recognition of Queen Michelle Obama, who has strong family ties to the locale.
